Pastoral Staff


Dean W. Meyer began as Pastor on July 18. He graduated from Warner Pacific College, Portland, Oregon in 1974. While attending school, he accepted the Lord’s call to ministry. He spent six years as a youth pastor and was ordained by the Church of God in 1979. His first assignment as a senior pastor was at the First Church of God in Exeter, California. Subsequently, he served as a senior pastor at churches in South San Francisco and Sacramento, California before accepting the senior pastor’s position at the Liberty Street Church of God in Clarion, Pennsylvania. For the past five years, Dean has served the Lord at First Baptist Church, Connellsville, Pennsylvania.

In 1994 Dean received his masters Degree in Religion from the Graduate School of Theology in Anaheim, California. In addition to his experience in youth ministry, Dean has had the opportunity to serve the Lord in multi-cultural urban neighborhoods where the church served many special needs of the community.

He is shown with is wife, Sue and daughter, Jessica.


       
Lois Chiles has been our church secretary since October 1986. She is married and has three children and four grandchildren. Her husband, Phil, retired after 40 years with Hallmark Cards. Her primary responsibility is to handle the requirements of the church office. Lois is a member of the church and therefore is involved with many ministry areas of the church. Currently she serves as the church treasurer, involved with AB Women's Ministries regionally & nationally and is a General Board representative for ABC-USA. Charles Beltz has been our Choir Director since 1991. He is married to Sally. Charles has four children and nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He holds a Master of Music Education from Wichita State University. He has taught music in the public school system and served for over thirty years in several churches in the music field. He retired from the school system in April of 1998. He serves the church in many areas.


Mark Cox became our custodian in December 2000.   Mark has been a member of our church for several years and volunteers his time to serve the Lord in our AWANA program as well as in other areas.  Mark is married to Debra and they have two children: Ian and Amy.
